It was a downpour the day of our move, but the team arrived with a great attitude and energy. They were efficient, helpful and focused. I loved the fact that Ferguson assigns your own personal mover who comes to assess your belongings and give you tips and advice. Quinn made us very comfortable and even came by a couple of days before the move to check things out and give a couple of last minute tips. Moving day came and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Our team of movers were courteous and polite. They communicated so well with us and worked non stop until the job was done. I moved from a townhouse to an apartment, then to a house and then to another apartment using Ferguson Moving and Storage for all three Moves , all with in a three year time frame . All three successful moves were Managed by my “Move Manager” “Quinn Johnson” who took care of absolutely everything for me. Quinn also Managed everything I had in storage for a year and a half at Ferguson Moving and Storage in North Vancouver. They pack, they lift, they move, they are great workers and make the stress of a Move go away quickly. Masini McDermott59 days agoWe needed two HUGE pieces of machinery moved between four different locations, and the Ferguson Moving team did an incredible job! Three of their movers handled everything seamlessly, taking the time to carefully disassemble the equipment and put everything back together at each location. One of the pieces was a 400 lb ice cream machine, and they did whatever was needed to safely get the job done. The entire process was handled professionally, efficiently, and with great care. Attention to details - wrapping everything safely for transport - respected the homes at both ends guarding not to make marks. I found Ferguson Moving and Storage on Google and Adam came out and scoped our move in Markham - 29 years in the same house. He gave us a great price and a promise to hold the price. Everything was carefully wrapped and unwrapped even though it was just a 10 minute drive to unload. Everything was hauled up stairs and carefully placed into all the designated rooms. The team brought 2 trucks yesterday all the way to Bowen Island and the they were first class, plus the sweetest guys ever (strong too!)…I could go on and on but I’ll simply say there is no other moving company, worth every penny, even if the higher bid. Starting with the initial contact with their rep Quinn Johnson, who made our move seamless with many helpful suggestions and fair estimates of costs, to the initial packing, storage for 10 months, then moving to its final destination it all worked with no loses or damages. Thanks to Matt, Cowan & Nabil who did the final move in. Polite, respectful of our condo neighbors and helpful. We had a couple of stops and pickups along the way and these guys worked it out and made it through tight corners with no scrapes on the walls and furniture. And the second team was Tom, Adrian, and Shiva. They were all professional and courteous. Quinn at Ferguson was in touch with me weeks before my move, was meticulous and organized throughout both the lead up to moving day through to finishing / updating me on the storage of my things. I had to work most of the time in the corner while the moving was taking place - the staff took care of everything including relations with my building manager throughout the day. It was the first call I made looking for movers, and after that conversation, I didn’t even think about calling anyone else. We had to move cross-country on very short notice, and there was a lot going on. But Adam was there from the start - answering calls, replying quickly, checking in, making sure nothing got overlooked, and coordinating everything seamlessly with the team in Vancouver. And his team? They are so good at what they do! Efficient, thoughtful, and just really wonderful people to have around. From packing everything up to unloading it on the other side, they worked hard and took great care with our things. What meant the most to us was this: we didn’t have to worry from that very first call. During a time when there was already so much to think about, the move was set and handled so well. Jeremy went through the virtual walkthrough with me and assured me their team could handle it - he was right! Matt, Cowen, and Desiree arrived on time and instantly went into problem-solving mode. From limited parking to navigating the tight spaces, they handled it all the a smile. They surveyed the house with its tight spaces old tight staircases, weird tight corridors to find the best spots. They were really strong guys and knew how to disassemble furniture and even exercise machines. Adrian, Yevhen, Jovo, Tom were awesome. Moving is stressful at the best of times but when it is a move not of your choice it is especially so. Ferguson made the move stress free right from the start. The process began with an interview and video tour of our two bedroom apartment with Charlie who later sent us our quote, arranged for the 2 bedroom package of boxes for us to prepare for the move, dealt with parking permit for his truck at the other end etc. Communication with Charlie as quick and easy (via text and email) throughout the process. On the day of the move we had Lucas, Ted and Yevhen. The guys were personable, professional, thorough and efficient. It was a tricky move leaving our building (easier at the other end) but they handled it with style You hear so many horror stories about moving companies. Trust me, you are in great hands with Charlie and his team. We will definitely use them again when we move back into our building post renovationsPosted on Google

Ferguson Moving & Storage helped us moved from our place to two locations, one within the city, as well as out of province storage. The guys went above and beyond to make sure our place was in perfect condition for the new home owners. They also made sure our furniture was nicely wrapped before placing it into the storage container (out of province move). They also asked for a lot of details, making sure the correct furniture were going to the right location. We are a very easy going customer but these furniture pieces were irreplaceable as they are hard to find Danish teak mid century ones. They dismantled a big wardrobe we had and put it back together at the new place. I was charged exactly the same amount they estimated- not a penny more even though the move took way longer than we expected (about 14 hours!). Overall, very pleasant experience. They made the move much easier and hassle-free and provided a lot of inclusions like mattress wraps, clothing boxes, and provided as many carpet runners to ensure their shoes don't get onto your floors. They took the time to introduce themselves and ask what specific directions we needed (IE: Fragile, what we need access to immediately on the other end etc…). They worked quickly, Expertly wrapping everything to prevent any damage! We moved from a Condo and one of our Strata members sat at the front entrance during the move out: he told me, in all the years he’s done this, these guys were the best he’d seen - very contentious and respectful of the other occupants re: elevator use and entrance access. Once at our new home they remained upbeat, even tho it got to 35 degrees out, and again were efficient and professional. I’d recommend this crew to Any and All of my Friends/Family!!!! The only thing I would say is that I don’t love the hourly rate vs a set price because we have to get pre-approvals for govt funding. Ferguson sent Manasseh, Uche, and Emmanuel, three charming and hard-working young men from Nigeria. These three took all our furniture apart, wrapped it thoroughly, then re-assembled it at our new place. They were so cheerful throughout. This move back 5 years later was just as smooth. Ferguson kept our furniture in storage for 7 months until we were able to move into our condo. We ran into one small snag which Adam fixed within 24 hours. Great professional service. The movers worked tirelessly on the hottest day of the year. Unload day: Matt, Manny & Uche, again an amazing job. Rock stars for a most difficult move. All of these guys made it look so easy. I know it wasn’t. They showed up on time, both days and got the job done. All crew members were courteous, friendly, fast, efficient and professional in all aspects of the move. I was super impressed with how seamless it was. Anyone who has moved a large amount of furniture knows how stressful this can be. The minute they showed up I knew this was the team I was looking for.
