I hate moving! I’m not sure who actually enjoys it?! However, they made it so easy on us, we did absolutely nothing but point fingers of what’s going and where it’s getting placed at the new location and next thing you know we were in our new place. I highly recommend as it was one of the most professional moving companies around. We don’t mind moving anymore! Never thought I’d say this… Thanks guys!Posted on Google![]()

We were so happy when a Ferguson crew moved us in April of this year that we're now booking with them again in March-April of 2027. They have professional and friendly crews who do a great job at a very competitive price.Posted on Google![]()

This team was amazing! I can't thank Tom, Colby and Ted enough for the excellent move out of storage and back into our house. The were meticulous about caring for our newly finished house. They were super professional and worked well as a team. They communicated well and helped with everything. I have used many movers over the years but these guys were by far the best. Ted was super handy and able to put all our furniture back together and led the crew like a total pro. This was also a great storage company, any time we needed in they would prepare our box and were super helpful and very responsive.Posted on Google![]()

We used Ferguson Moving & Storage for our move last year and had a really great experience. The whole process was smooth and well organised, and the team were professional, friendly and incredibly hardworking. They took great care with our belongings and made what can be a very stressful day feel so much easier. Everything was handled efficiently, and we really appreciated how helpful and respectful the team were throughout the move. We would happily use Ferguson Moving & Storage again and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving company!Posted on Google![]()

Tyler and his crew from Ferguson Moving were amazing! Lots of helpful communication both before and during the move, very courteous and professional throughout and went above and beyond by asking to help with little details and arrangement of our furniture. Ferguson is the only movers that I would recommend to family and friends!
Squamish movers on the Sea-to-Sky
Squamish sits at the heart of the Sea-to-Sky corridor, between Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains, and moving here takes more planning than a typical city move. The drive up Highway 99, new strata buildings with booked elevator windows, hillside driveways in Garibaldi Highlands and weather that can change by the hour all shape moving day.
Ferguson has been moving British Columbians since 1916. Our Squamish moves are run from our North Vancouver location, the closest Ferguson branch to the Sea-to-Sky, so your crew starts the day on the right side of the bridges.

Squamish movers who know the Sea-to-Sky
A Squamish move is different from a city move. Highway 99, mountain weather, new strata buildings and hillside driveways all shape moving day, and your crew needs to plan for every one of them.
Ferguson moves Squamish households and businesses up and down the Sea-to-Sky, from Britannia Beach to Whistler and Pemberton. We know the neighbourhoods, the strata rules and the highway, and we build every move around them.
That means:
- Crews who know Squamish: From downtown condos to Garibaldi Highlands driveways and Brackendale acreage, we plan for your home, not just your postal code.
- Moves planned around the highway: We watch Sea-to-Sky conditions and build your schedule around weather, road work and closures.
- Storage when dates don’t line up: If your possession dates don’t match, your belongings stay in secure storage until you’re ready.
- One price, in writing: Your guaranteed price is set before moving day, and what we put in writing is guaranteed.
Moving to Squamish from Vancouver, the North Shore or the Fraser Valley? Leaving Squamish for Whistler, Pemberton or another province? Same team, same written price.
Moving across Squamish neighbourhoods
Squamish has grown quickly, and each neighbourhood brings its own moving day details, from strata elevator bookings downtown to steep driveways in the Highlands and long rural lanes north of town.
- Downtown Squamish: Condos and townhomes near Cleveland Avenue and the waterfront, with strata move-in rules and tight street parking. We plan the loading spot before moving day.
- Dentville and Northyards: Older single-family homes on larger lots, alongside new townhome projects. Wide lots make loading easy; new builds need strata coordination.
- Valleycliffe: Established family homes on quiet, sloped streets at the south end of town, just off Highway 99.
- Garibaldi Estates: Detached homes, townhomes and newer condo buildings close to the main shopping area. Ask your strata about elevator bookings early.
- Garibaldi Highlands: Hillside homes with views and steep driveways, where truck placement matters. We confirm access during your survey.
- Tantalus and University Heights: Newer condos, townhomes and hillside homes on the north side of town, with plenty of recent move-ins.
- Brackendale and Paradise Valley: Detached homes, duplexes and acreage with longer driveways and gravel lanes. We check access before moving day.
- Britannia Beach and Furry Creek: Smaller communities south of town along the Sea-to-Sky, served by the same North Shore crews.

What makes moving in Squamish different
Moving to or from Squamish is more than a longer drive. The corridor has its own conditions, and planning for them is what keeps moving day on schedule.
- The Sea-to-Sky Highway: Highway 99 is the main road in and out. Weather, road work and closures can affect timing, so we watch conditions and build the schedule around them.
- Winter moves: Snow and ice can arrive early north of Horseshoe Bay. We build extra time into winter moves and keep you informed if conditions change.
- New strata buildings: Many new condos and townhomes require booked elevator times, loading zone access and a certificate of insurance. Ask your strata early and we’ll plan around your window.
- Hillside homes: Steep driveways in Garibaldi Highlands and Valleycliffe affect where a truck can park. We confirm access during your survey so the right truck shows up.
- Rural and acreage properties: Longer driveways and gravel lanes in Brackendale and Paradise Valley take planning. We check access before moving day.
- Gear-heavy households: Bikes, skis, boards, kayaks and climbing gear need their own packing plan. We wrap and load them so they arrive ready for your next weekend.
