Our largest moving box. Five cubic feet swallows duvets, pillows, winter coats, lampshades and sports equipment that would otherwise fill three smaller cartons — fewer trips to the truck and fewer boxes to unpack at the other end.
Keep it to light and bulky. Anything heavy belongs in a 2 cu ft box so it stays liftable. Wrap fragile pieces in bubble wrap or packing paper and fill gaps with crumpled paper so nothing shifts in transit.
